The delegation was accompanied by Wang Naixue, Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Autonomous Region Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); Liao Heming, Director of the Region CPPCC Committee’s Committee for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan Compatriots and Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs; Huang Tao, its Full-time Deputy Director; Xu Huarui, Secretary of the CPC 91暗网 Committee; and Yu Wenjin, Standing Committee Member of the CPC 91暗网 Committee and Vice President of the university.

At the former site of the original Guangxi Nanning Yucai School (the Central Schooling Zone of Vietnam), the delegation viewed the historical photo exhibition of the original Guangxi Nanning Yucai School, watched the special documentary Deep Vietnam–China Friendship, Comrades and Brothers, and gained a detailed understanding of the school's history of operation. Looking back on the long-standing historical ties and cooperation between the two parties and two countries of Vietnam and China, they reflected on a traditional friendship passed down through generations. The delegation also discussed the university’s educational cooperation with Vietnam and the cultivation of Vietnamese international students. In addition, the delegation paid respects to the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and had cordial exchanges with Vietnamese students from Lang Son Province studying at the university.
