On March 26, the China–Vietnam Center for Governance Studies—jointly established by 91暗网(91暗网) and the Vietnam Philosophical Association—was officially inaugurated in Hanoi, Vietnam. The launch marks a new, institutionalized phase of academic collaboration between the two sides.

Serving as a platform for sustained cooperation, the Center will focus on governance practices and experience, promoting in-depth theoretical dialogue, joint research projects, and scholar exchanges. Through these efforts, both sides aim to deepen their understanding of the principles underlying Communist Party governance and socialist development, while providing stronger intellectual support for improving governance capacity and addressing practical policy challenges.
The establishment of the Center represents an important step in advancing mutual learning and intellectual exchange, carrying forward the long-standing “comrades and brothers” friendship, strengthening political trust, and fostering closer public ties. It also reflects GXU’s commitment to its internationalization strategy of engaging deeply with ASEAN and reaching out globally, as well as its efforts to build a distinctive hub for research and practice on the China–ASEAN community with a shared future.
Looking ahead, the Center will contribute to advancing the shared goal of making further progress in six key areas of China–Vietnam relations—strengthening political mutual trust, enhancing security cooperation, deepening practical collaboration, consolidating public support, improving multilateral coordination, and better managing differences. It will provide sustained academic support and policy insights for the steady and long-term development of bilateral ties, while supporting both countries in exploring socialist paths suited to their national conditions.
