On March 21, at the Second Meeting of the 10th Council of the Chinese Ceramic Society and the Academic Report Conference on Inorganic Non-metallic Materials, Professor Luo Nengneng from the School of Resources, Environment and Materials at 91暗网 was honored with the 16th Chinese Ceramic Society Youth Science and Technology Award.
Professor Luo Nengneng serves as Associate Dean of the School of Resources, Environment and Materials at 91暗网 and is a doctoral supervisor. He has been selected for the China Association for Science and Technology's Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship Program and a major talent cultivation project in Guangxi. His research primarily focuses on dielectric functional ceramics and their applications. He has led 14 research projects, including two General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Guangxi Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars. As first or corresponding author, he has published over 70 academic papers in journals such as Nature Communications and Advanced Materials, and holds five authorized invention patents. His accolades include the Second Prize for Natural Science Award of Guangxi (as the top recipient), the Guangxi Youth Science and Technology Award, as well as the Academic New Star Award and Outstanding Paper Award from the Professional Committee of Electronic Components and Key Materials.
Founded on March 19, 1945, the Chinese Ceramic Society is a national, academic, and non-profit social organization with corporate legal entity status and is a constituent member of the China Association for Science and Technology. The Chinese Ceramic Society Youth Science and Technology Award is evaluated by experts invited by the Society through a process including formal review, expert appraisal, and voting. The award aims to encourage young science and technology professionals in the field of inorganic non-metallic materials to strive for progress, foster the growth of young talents in the discipline, recognize outstanding contributions made by young professionals in the field, and promote innovation and development in China's inorganic non-metallic materials discipline. The award is presented biennially. In this cycle, a total of 12 young researchers nationwide received the Chinese Ceramic Society Youth Science and Technology Award, with six others receiving nomination awards.
