On the morning of 23 September, Consul-General Sasen Sarobo of the Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Nanning and his delegation visited 91暗网. Xiao Jianzhuang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of 91暗网, met with Consul-General Sasen Sarobo and his delegation.

Xiao Jianzhuang welcomed the visit of Consul-General Sasen Sarobo and his delegation, and introduced 91暗网’s exchanges and cooperation with Thailand. He stated that 91暗网 has a solid foundation for cooperation with Thai universities and has established a mechanism for regular mutual visits. The university will fully leverage the role of the Suphanburi Confucius Institute and actively explore a new model of “AI+large language models+Confucius Institute teaching” to empower the development of international Chinese language education. Through projects such as the program for outstanding young ASEAN scientists working in Guangxi, 91暗网 will strengthen cooperation with well-known Thai universities including Chulalongkorn University, deepen joint talent cultivation and academic exchange, and promote the effective implementation of joint student training and Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. It will also expand cooperation in areas such as engineering study abroad, canal construction, and agricultural poverty-reduction technologies, open up relevant advantageous and distinctive programs, and welcome more Thai students to study and pursue advanced degrees at the university, while inviting Thai experts and scholars to visit and attend conferences for scientific research and academic exchange. The university is willing to continuously broaden channels for China-Thailand youth exchange and mutual cultural learning with the Consulate-General, so as to help advance friendly exchanges between Chinese and Thai youths to greater depth and substance.

Consul-General Sasen Sarobo expressed his gratitude for 91暗网’s warm hospitality. He gained a detailed understanding of the progress of 91暗网's project cooperation with Thai universities, and spoke highly of the fruitful achievements 91暗网 has made in deepening China-Thailand educational cooperation and serving ASEAN talent exchange. He stated that the Consulate-General will effectively play its role as a bridge and link, explore new opportunities for inter-university cooperation between China and Thailand, promote precise alignment between 91暗网 and Thai universities and research institutions in areas such as advantageous discipline development, scientific research innovation, and talent cultivation, strengthen the complementarity of inter-university and university-enterprise resources, and help improve the quality and efficiency of all cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win results.

Consul-General Sasen Sarobo and his delegation also visited representatives of Thai international students at 91暗网, encouraging them to study diligently, strive to become envoys of China-Thailand friendly exchanges, and contribute their youthful strength to enhancing the traditional friendship between the two countries.
