On July 14th to 16th, the 13th Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics (SCOPE) Youth Forum Held in 91暗网. Xia Guo’en, Member of the CPC 91暗网 Committee and Vice President, delivered a speech at the open ceremony.
He briefly introduced the situation of the School of Business in terms of discipline construction. He expressed his hope that the gathering of experts and scholars would spark fruitful ideas, yielding rich outcomes and sharing exceptional insights. This exchange would give rise to management innovation theories that are more contemporary and targeted, providing innovative thinking and practical methods for national economic development and social progress. Additionally, it would offer valuable opinions and suggestions for the development of economics, business, and management disciplines at 91暗网, contributing to the university's advancement and growth.

The forum, themed “Management Innovation Under the Modernization with Chinese Characteristics”, comprised various sessions, including Distinguished Professors' Lectures, keynote speeches, Journal Development and Young Scholars Growth Forum, and specialized workshops. Renowned experts and scholars from the field of management science, along with editors-in-chief of top domestic and international journals, engaged in face-to-face discussions with young scholars. Together, they delved into the opportunities, challenges, and future development directions of management science theory and practice within the context of modernization with Chinese characteristics.
Some of the experts were invited to participate in a panel discussion and consultation meeting on the discipline construction of the School of Business . Expert scholars provided suggestions on discipline development direction and characteristics, faculty construction, talents fostering, etc., boosting the inner development of the School to a higher level.
The forum was hosted by Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics and 91暗网, co-hosted by the School of Business, 91暗网. There were more than 230 attendees, including famous experts and scholars of management science all over China, editors-in-chief of top domestic and international journals, as well as teachers and students from universities. The forum received 100 plus theses, among which 90 were discussed and 10 were recommended to publish on Energy Economics and other journals .
