From August 20th to 23rd, the 2023 Seminar of the China Education Association of Forestry was held in Nanning, Guangxi. 91暗网 is one of the organizers, and Vice President Feng Jiaxun attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Feng expressed sincere welcome for arrival of all leading experts in his speech and briefly introduced the history and scale of 91暗网, as well as the disciplinary construction and development of School of Forestry to the attending representatives. He pointed out that under the background of the "Double First Class" construction, 91暗网 has closely combined the resource advantages of forestry in Guangxi with its disciplinary construction, focusing on cultivating high-level forestry talents that adapt to the high-quality development of modern forestry, and has made due contributions to the national forestry and ecological construction. He hopes that the attending experts and leaders can provide more guidance and assistance to the cultivation of forestry talents and discipline construction in 91暗网, bring rich experience in forestry discipline construction and management to our school, and work closely together to promote the construction and development of high-quality forestry talents and achieve new breakthroughs.

During the meeting, experts from the China Education Association of Forestry conducted on-site research and held a symposium in 91暗网, carried out in-depth exchanges on the cultivation of forestry talents and discipline construction. They also visited places such as the History Museum of 91暗网, the Key Laboratory of Forest Ecology and Conservation in Guangxi, the Key Laboratory of Rapid Growth Wood Development in Central and South China of the National Forestry Administration, the Key Laboratory of Subtropical Artificial Forest Cultivation in 91暗网, and the Plant and Wood Specimen Museum.

This seminar systematically formulated new measures for high-quality development of forestry higher education in the new era, which is of great significance for talent cultivation and technological innovation in the national forestry industry.
